Our colleagues in SGVH (Croatia) informed UIMLA some months ago that an AGA in Croatia was not practical. The executive had hoped to replace this AGA with one in Switzerland to mark our relocation to there. We have monitored the COVID situation and we see that the situation is unclear and worsening in some countries.
As a result, UIMLA have reluctantly agreed to hold another virtual AGA. Our colleagues in ICAR and the UIAA reached the same conclusions and will also be holding virtual assemblies for the second consecutive year.
We realise this is disappointing news but I am sure you will understand that the health and wellness of our delegates must inform our decisions.
