UIMLA is proud to announce that we have joined the European Trails Network as a founder member. This initiative, part of the World Trails Network, brings together organisations committed to promoting and enhancing Europe’s extensive network of trails, supporting sustainable outdoor tourism and responsible access to nature.
As an organisation dedicated to professional mountain leadership, UIMLA looks forward to contributing to the development of high-quality trail experiences while upholding safety, environmental stewardship, and best practices for mountain tourism.
Our participation is subject to approval at the next UIMLA Annual General Assembly (AGA), where we will share more details with our member associations. Being part of the European Trails Network will also open up opportunities for international cooperation through the World Trails Network, benefiting our member associations with global connections and collaborations.
