Welcome Kosovo — our newest Aspirant Member!
We are proud to announce that the Hellenic Association of Mountain Leaders has been formally admitted as a Full Member of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA), and that Kosovo has been accepted as an Aspirant Member at our 2025 General Assembly.
Greece becomes the 28th country to join UIMLA, while Kosovo begins its journey within our international community — marking another important step in expanding opportunities for professional mountain leaders across Europe and beyond.
From Andorra to Japan, from the Andes to the Balkans, UIMLA continues to grow as a global network built on professionalism, cooperation, and shared standards that unite mountain leaders worldwide.
Together, we strengthen the profession and the values that define it: safety, integrity, and respect for the mountain environment.
